 About Our Ship The Runabout Teirysas, the South Florida chapter and Flagship of the Bajoran Coalition, was formed to help create a stronger Bajoran presence in the Dade/Broward area. Perhaps you may have noticed lately when you have gone to conventions that almost everyone is either Klingon or Starfleet. Our goal is to try to bring a little more diversity to wherever we go. Of course Bajorans in Starfleet or similar clubs are more than welcome to join as well as any � Klingon � Bajoran, � Betazoid � Bajoran, � Anything � Bajoran, � Jem'Hadar � Vulcan � Kazon � Bajoran, even if you're NOT a Bajoran at all, you too can join us in our mission!!!!!
Once you've sent in your membership application to the Bajoran Coalition, simply fill out the information on our sign-up form for duty aboard the Runabout Teirysas.
As part of the Coalition, you can choose to join either the Bajoran Militia, the Religious Order, or you may choose Civilian or Reserve status.
As part of the Runabout Teirysas you will be part of a group of local Bajorans where you can learn about culture, attend parties and conventions, and help bring a little of Bajor to Earth. We have already attended conventions in the past and hope to again. We have hopes in the future for a Bajoran Temple at the next local convention. There we will have displays of Bajoran pictures, toys, figures, uniforms, and custom-made items and we will teach other races of our culture. Our future looks bright, as the Prophets must be smiling down upon us.
Newsletters As a member of the Coalition, you will also receive a quarterly newsletter entitled "Pagh'tem'far." This is a five to ten page newsletter telling you about your favorite Bajorans, conventions, and other events. It includes puzzles, jokes, letters, reports and all kinds of
fun facts.
When you sign-on to the Runabout Teirysas you will also get an additional one to two page newsletter every month or so detailing local conventions and events that we will be at as well as additional news and member comments. This newsletter will also usually have a puzzle of some sort.
